Martin Luther King Lodge # 11

When Ill. Herman Perry 33° came to become a part of Excelsior Supreme Council it was his true intent to start a lodge and thus Martin Luther King Lodge No. 11 was created.

In September 2007 this lodge came to life.  During 2007 and 2008 Ill. Perry served as its first Worshipful Master. During his tenure in the east he brought in both old and new members to help in his development of this lodge.

In May 2008 Ill. Darrin Drew 32° became a part of this lodge. In September 2008 Ill. Herman Perry 33° relinquished his seat as Worshipful Master of the lodge so that he could devote his time into his seat as Lieutenant Sovereign Grand Commander of Excelsior Supreme Council A&ASRM. He then asked Ill. Darrin Drew 32° to step up as the new Worshipful Master.

Under the leadership and guidance of Ill. Darrin Drew 32° MLK Lodge No. 11 has become a fully chartered subordinate lodge in the state of New York.  Martin Luther King Lodge No. 11 has grown within the State where its main goal is to promote Masonic values and educate those in the fundamentals of the man whose name this lodge bears.

The brothers of this lodge will continue to grow strong as MEN and as MASONS.
